Thunderstorm!

So....let me tell you what i've been doing for the last couple of days...

As you already know, I'm basically here alone. As a consequence, I think I'm at a point to really truly understand how the bums on telegraph feels like. I pretty much talk to myself in Japanese and make up my own theme songs when I'm cooking. Either way, I've been pretty sick for the last two days, due to something I ate or the water, so I had this really high fever and horrible stomach-fluish symptoms. Anyway, I got much better today, and took this line 31 bus from one side to the other to see parts of Amherst.

Basically, Amherst is just grass and flat lands. I've never seen flatter lands before. Berkeley is so hilly and many ups and downs. Amherst is flat. with nothing. just grass. and trees.

On the brighter side (or not), there are tons of different kinds of bugs. And I hate bugs. So, i'm running around frantically running away from bugs.

Tonight was the first time I experienced thunder storms. The rain was amazing. I live on the ground floor right now, so I'm half into the ground. I can see the rain hitting the pavement from my window pretty much at my eye level, which is really cool. The lightning was really cool too. I've never seen lightning before. That was amazing.

So no picture this time. I've been slacking. But one day, I will post some pictures of lightning if I can.
